Hey my name is Andrea Belmontes and I am a sophomore in high school. I’m 15 years old and I’ve basically lived my whole life in Illinois. Well .. little fun fact about me , I have a twin sister .. before you ask no were not identical , fraternal twins. I know, sorry to disappoint ya . Anyways, I should probably tell the reason I made this blog . I’ve always had a passion for music , since the day I listened to ” never be alone” by Shawn Mendes my thoughts on music changed . Now I know what you might thinking ” a Shawn Mendes song is that really a song that touched you ? ” and the answer is yes, here’s why. When I first listen to this song I wasn’t even a teen yet , and when I was younger I was never really the “emotional type” like I would never cry in a sad scene of a movie , weird right. Long story short , when I first listened to the lyrics of this song in some way they touched me because I think the words are truly beautiful ( I suggest going and listening to it so you know what I mean) . So yeah I just loved it so much I actually cried, which was weird for me.. obviously. This is what started my whole love for music, I think music should not only be seen as something just to put on cause your board or whatever, but to be truly appreciated and connect with the lyrics because i think we would all enjoy it way more that way. Well i hope you’ll stick around and learn more about me and what i think about music:)
