I’ve always wanted to see Lana Del Rey in concert. I absolutely love her and her voice, it’s just so beautiful. Definitely makes me sad that not a lot of people listen to her . Another artist I would love to see is Billie Eilish , I’ve been obsessed with some of her songs recently and I would really love to hear her live. I definitely wouldn’t mind seeing Shawn Mendes twice hehe . I would love to see James Arthur , he’s songs always seem to to get to me and I usually have a memory stuck with some of his songs , they definitely can make me cry lol. I hope you were able to discover a new artist from this post!

I feel like this past year i really have expanded my interest in music , i really got into old music like from the 50s to 90s, just all type i love. Some artist that i love for older type of music are: Frank Sinatra , Elvis Presley , Dean Martin . I think I love old music because it just gives you that nostalgia of those time periods which I wish I was from . I always say that I was born in the wrong decade , I wish I was like in the 50s, I love that decade.

I also love alternative music from artist like: Billie Eilish , The Wallows, Rex Orange County, Bruno Major, LANA DEL REY.. I really want to go to a wallows concert , their a band (they guy form 13 reasons why is the lead singer) but they are really good and I’ve seen videos of their concerts and they look really fun. I would also LOVE to go to a Billie Eilish concert, i love her.

One more genre of music i really like is R&B/Soul , its music you can really just vibe to and great for listening in the car. Here are some artist that i listen to : H.E.R , SZA, Bryson Tiller, Jhene Aiko. I would really recommend listening to any of these artist I’ve mentioned, i promise you wont regret listening to them. I hope you were able to find at least one new artist to listen to 🙂

Lets start off by talking about my first concert, sounds good? Okay well first guess who i went to go see , just guess…. SHAWN MENDES. I know , not surprised right. But on serious not it was truly amazing. I got the opportunity to go with two of my bestfriends, and it just made the experience 10x better. As soon as Shawn came out to play his first song i was honestly in shock, like i had been listening to him for so long that i was actually seeing him in person , with him in the same room .. still blows my mind. Anyways , i LOVED the whole experience. Screaming every song , and just jamming out with hundreds of people is so cool. Just in general seeing live music gives you a completely different vibe than listening through your phone, from the vibrations you can feel through the ground because the music is so loud, to loosing your voice because you sang so loud, love it lol. After this concert i truly loved music even more , because that whole time i was in there i honestly forgot about all my problems, your to busy jamming out that you don’t even think about those things and that’s what i love. Definitely will be going to another concert soon.

Hey my name is Andrea Belmontes and I am a sophomore in high school. I’m 15 years old and I’ve basically lived my whole life in Illinois. Well .. little fun fact about me , I have a twin sister .. before you ask no were not identical , fraternal twins. I know, sorry to disappoint ya . Anyways, I should probably tell the reason I made this blog . I’ve always had a passion for music , since the day I listened to ” never be alone” by Shawn Mendes my thoughts on music changed . Now I know what you might thinking ” a Shawn Mendes song is that really a song that touched you ? ” and the answer is yes, here’s why. When I first listen to this song I wasn’t even a teen yet , and when I was younger I was never really the “emotional type” like I would never cry in a sad scene of a movie , weird right. Long story short , when I first listened to the lyrics of this song in some way they touched me because I think the words are truly beautiful ( I suggest going and listening to it so you know what I mean) . So yeah I just loved it so much I actually cried, which was weird for me.. obviously. This is what started my whole love for music, I think music should not only be seen as something just to put on cause your board or whatever, but to be truly appreciated and connect with the lyrics because i think we would all enjoy it way more that way. Well i hope you’ll stick around and learn more about me and what i think about music:)
